1. Who is responsible for your information?
La Crème des Bordelaises is the sole proprietorship of Pascaline Camblong, in Montreal (Quebec). Pascaline Camblong is the person in charge of the protection of personal information. For any question or request: lacremedesbordelaises@gmail.com.
2. What information is collected?
- When you fill out a form : name, email, phone (optional), company (optional) and the details of your project (date, number of participants, location, allergies, message).
- When you buy a gift card : name, email and payment information. Payment is processed by Stripe: I never have access to your card number.
- When you browse the site, only if you accept cookies : pages viewed, length of visit, device type, approximate city and path through the page. This data is collected for statistical purposes and is not used to identify you personally.
3. Why?
- To reply to your request and send you a quote;
- to organize your workshop or class, and follow up on it;
- to issue the gift card and the invoice;
- if you agree, to measure the site's audience and improve it.
Your information is never sold or used for targeted advertising.
4. Cookies and audience measurement
The site uses two audience measurement tools, turned off by default and only turned on if you click “Accept” in the banner:

Your choice is stored in your browser for 6 months. You can change it at any time: manage cookies (the link is also at the bottom of every page).
The Google reviews widget (Featurable) displays reviews published on Google; it does not set any audience measurement cookie.
5. Who is it shared with?
Only with the service providers needed to run the site and the business:
- Formspree : sending contact forms;
- Stripe : online payment for gift cards;
- Google (Gmail, Google Analytics): email and, if you agree, audience measurement;
- Microsoft Clarity : if you agree, analysis of how pages are used;
- Featurable : displaying Google reviews;
- GitHub Pages : website hosting.
Some of these providers store data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. They are chosen because they offer recognized protection measures.
6. How long is it kept?
Quote requests that don't go ahead are deleted after 2 years. Information related to a service or a gift card is kept for as long as needed for follow-up, then for the period required by tax rules (6 years).
7. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by writing to lacremedesbordelaises@gmail.com. I reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with the reply, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
8. Security
The site is served over a secure connection (HTTPS). Access to email and service provider accounts is protected by password and two-step verification. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a serious risk, the persons concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information are notified.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
